Simply Punchy

Four You © Stampin' Up!

This  fun card design is a great way to use up small scraps of Designer Series Paper.

Select colors that coordinate, punch and assemble.  It's just that easy and quick.

Here I punched out 8-1" squares, corner-rounding opposite corners to form the "petals". Adhere the 8 pieces onto a Whisper White mat, and run through the Texturz Boutique using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to give it a bit of extra pizzazz.

The sentiment tag is stamped, punched using the Decorative Label punch, and sponged and popped up on Dimensionals.

Spiffy.

Triple Layer Fun

Triple Layer stamping is easy to do, and the effects can be stunning.  Do you remember the adage: measure twice, cut once?  Precision pays off with this card.  See if you can discover the pattern.



Cut Whisper White layers:
2" x 3-1/4"
3"x 4-1/4"
4"x 5-1/4"

Cut card base and mats: 
2-1/4" x 3-1/2"
3-1/2" x 4-1/2"
5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (fold in half to create card)

Layer white pieces together, using temporary tape to hold in place.
Stamp as desired.
Separate white layers and finish coloring, adhere to corresponding mats, then matted images to card base, making sure that images are line up just as they were when you stamped them.
Embellish as desired.

CAS Valentine

At most of our classes, Lou and I offer 3 cards or projects.

This is the final card from Lou's February Men's Night Out.

This clean and simple design introduced his class to a new technique:  inking stamps with markers.  Ink, huff, stamp, assemble, done -- the kind of simplicity many stampers enjoy in their card making.

Added bonus:  the participants were delighted that they didn't have to run to a big box store and hunt through racks of mass-produced Valentines, but could proudly say to their honey, "I made this for you".  Proud moments for all.

Hearts Abounding

Lou loves variety in his card making.  This is one of his cards done with his February Men's Night Out stamping class.

One-of-a-Kind

My husband Lou is not only my supporting demonstrator, he is a stamper in his own right.  Recently, he started offering a monthly class for men only.  Over the next few days, I will be sharing some of his newest cards.

This is an updated version of a card Lou CASEd a while back from "Stampin' Success", a magazine for Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
