There are some things about spring I detest. Dethatching the lawn with a hand rake ranks right up at the top of my list.
While a bandaid will not help my aching back , this easy-to-do card is just the prescription for a quick card for someone who needs a bit of a lift.
It's A-2, lots of straight cuts, 2 punched hearts, a little sponging and stamping, a personal message inside and off to the mailbox you go!
Sassy Salutations set; Fresh Retro DSP; Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Canteloupe, Very Vanilla CS; Pumpkin Pie ink
Have a great weekend!

SASSY SALUTATIONS meets NEED FOR SPEED
With 9 grandsons and plenty of young boys at church who keep having birthdays, there is always a need for quick and easy cards at our house. Today's card uses both current and retired stamp sets; and like yesterday's, is single layer and water-colored.
To make this card, I used Note Cards & Envelopes; Sassy Salutations, Gorgeous Grunge, Need for Speed (ret.) stamp sets; Island Indigo, Sahara Sand, Real Red classic ink pads; Stazon Jet Black ink pad; Blender Pens (to add layers of color on the car).
Thanks for taking a peek at my card; hope it inspires you to create a card or two for the guys in your life.
Happy weekend!
