MAKE IT A BANNER YEAR!

Banners are very much an "in" thing. (Have they ever not been?) From campaign sites to store openings to birthday parties to backyard BBQ's, banners add a touch of fun to every day happenings.  You can even make a scrap book banner of your vacation or ot her happy event!  With a Big Shot and dies, lettering, shapes and images are a snap.

Here are a few to get you started on your own banner year!  All are found on the display boards at Convention 2012 and made with Stampin' Up! products.  Check the current catalog link for more ideas and supplies.  Happy summer crafting everyone.

FOR THE YOUNGER SET

One of the great things about meeting up with other demonstrators is getting to swap ideas for cards, scrapbook pages, techniques, classes -- you name it.  Today I want to share with you  projects for the younger set just a few to get your creative juices flowing. These came from the Stampin' Up! convention.
Which is your favorite?

I'm Back!

What a crazy busy month it has been.  The first two weeks were spent in  Colorado Springs. Our son had total knee replacement surgery (I will spare you the photo of that!) and I was helping out as needed.  It is always good to see family, especially if it includes grandchildren.  Above are the Colorado 3 : Brett, Kevin and Patrick.  So cute!

Back home on the 13th in time to hold Technique Club, place the order, reconnect with my husband and church family, then out the door on the 16th for the Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City.  It was my first.  I was told to be prepared to be impressed, but I must admit it exceeded my wildest expectations.

Sharing the experience were fellow demonstrators Mary Lou, Eloise, and Heather.

Okay, now for something fun.  Here's a video made at the Stampin' Up! offices.  Those are all company staff members doing the lip sync of our Convention theme song.  Beforewarned, once you hear it, you might have a hard time getting it out of your head.    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwIAyuyE1KY

Enjoy!
