Hi Stampers,
Today's card was created for my young friend
Katie who was recently awarded her Bachelor of Science degree. Like
yesterday's card, school colors were chosen, making this an easy card to
give that personal touch.
Real Red + Basic Black = a classic color combination I never tire of. The red card stock was texturized by running it through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder.
The flower comes from the Mixed Bunch stamp set, punched out using the Blossom punch, and popped up with dimensionals. To make the center, I used a 3/4" Circle Punch with a dimensional. And a Rhinestone Jewel gives the card just the right amount of sparkle.
Both the Gingham Ribbon and the Happy Grad stamp are retired products, but could easily be swapped out.
