Graduation Card

Hi Stampers!

Today's card is just so basic yet has such a WOW! factor.
Though I used a stamp set from the 2010 Occasions Mini catalog, the layout is easily adaptable. Personalize each card by changing it up to match your grad's school colors.

Even the flower is easy to make:  simply distress 4 punched flowers by crumpling each in your hand, smoothing out, then crumpling again multiple times until each flower is soft.  Stack them up; poke a hole in the middle; secure layers together using a brad.

Sail Away

Hi Stampers!

I don't live anywhere near water, but sailboats have such an appeal for me.  This new stamp in the Summer Mini Catalog has quickly become my new favorite. This card is CAS (clean and simple).  To make it, you will need:

Stamps:  Sail Away
Paper:  Whisper White. Marina Mist card stock
Accessories:  Watercolor Wonder (watercolor crayons), Aqua painters, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, SNAIL adhesive, Mat Pack, Paper Piercing Tool

Stampingly yours, Trish

Funky Fold Birthday card

My grandson Kevin is an avid soccer player.  In celebration of his birthday soon, I made him this Funky Fold card.

Here's how I did it:

Cut Bashful Blue 4-1/4" x 11".  Cut and score following template provided below.

Cut Whisper White card stock to fit each panel:
7/8" x 4-3/8" (cut 2);
7/8" x 4-3/8";
2"x 4-1/2"
Then decorate using stamps and inks according to your theme. Here I used Bashful Blue classic ink pad and the Whimsy Jumbo wheel; Night of Navy and Basic Black classic ink pads and the Just Soccer and Sporting stamp sets (both retired); Stars #2 die and the Big Shot; Night of Navy, Basic Black and more Whisper White card stock to create the embellishments.

It was a lot of fun to create, and not all that hard.

Thanks for stopping by.
Creatively yours,
Trish
