Do you ever send sympathy cards when an owner loses a pet? I do, especially when I know how much the family loved him and the hole his absence has made.
Below is such a card I made for my son and their family when they made the very heart-wrenching decision to end the suffering of their beloved beagle Marty.
Marty was not a fussy dog, so I chose no bow for this card, but did stamp the paw prints on the ribbon and popped up the mat with dimensionals.
supplies used:
stamps: So Sorry, D is for Dog (retired)
CS: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Versamark
etc: Early Espresso 1/4" stitched grosgrain, Natural 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, stampin' dimensionals; stampin' sponges
It's not always a matter of making something grand. Most often what brings a smile to the heart and a Wow! to the lips is just a little something to show that you care about the things that matter to others.
I hope your every day is one that you can touch another's life in a personal and meaningful way.
